I believe Donald Trump should go out and speak with Dairy and Honey Farmers, over the weekend. Farmers play one of the most important roles in America's Agriculture which include Wisconsins's cheese and honey industry. Lately, a huge concern for the honey industry is the safety and survival of the bees. Pollination is needed for plants to reproduce and bees play a vital role as pollinators. The foregoing fact is just one of the reasons why farmers of all types need to be an important part of the US conversation!
I would go out and speak with small to medium size farms in addition to large farmers who are usually corporations. The reason has to do with small to medium farmers are being pushed out of the industry all over the country no matter whether their growing corn, wheat, soy beans or producing milk and honey or raising cattle, pigs and chickens etc. The farmers needs and concerns differ from state to state along with size and type of farms.
Lately, I have been noticing a lot of produce in grocery stores from many different countries including Mexico. My concern especially in regards to Mexico produce is the standads of the growers. I have heard about the deplorable conditions of many Mexican towns regarding sanitary conditions including the water. I know enough about farming to acknowledge how important irrigation is to harvesting great produce. My concerns include the source of the water used for irrigation and the condition of the water.
Especially, when you hear about industry recalls regarding lettuce as an example causing many americans to get sick and in some cases causing death. My theory is the problem stems from sewage and or pollutants that end up in irrigation water. So I try and purchase produce grown in the USA for many reasons including "Made in America" and my concerns regarding growing standards of other poor countries.
So, for many reasons, I believe Trump should show a sincere interest in important issues to the citizens of Wisconsin and that would include Dairy and Honey farmers. I would suggest the Trump team stopping at a General Store to purchase some rubber boots.
Sincerely,
Ms. Laura L. Johnson

On Tuesday we'll find out if the voters in Wisconsin are fit to govern themselves, or are sleepwalking pawns for the media-government complex.
