I think a huge Freudian slip that Cruz made was when said (at approximately 1:41:12 of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I34BT0WyF4o (“(AUDIO) FULL CNN GOP REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE IN MIAMI, FLORIDA(3/10/16)”)) that “We have at this point beaten Donald in EIGHT separate states all over the country”. However, Ted Cruz so far only apparently won SEVEN states (Iowa, Texas, Oklahoma, Alaska, Kansas, Maine, and Idaho); Cruz apparently included the state - Minnesota – that was won by Rubio, and thus CRUZ INDICATED BY JOINING WITH RUBIO IN THE EXPRESSION OF “WE” THAT CRUZ IS PART OF THE RUBIO ESTABLISHMENT POLITICIANS (http://www.nytimes.com/interactive/2016/us/elections/primary-calendar-and-results.html?_r=0 ).
Trump in response, very subtlety chided Ted Cruz by apparently back dating to PRIOR to the results of Tuesday March 8, 2016 – when he was ahead of Cruz by 12 to 6 states – by pointing out his 13 to 6 lead of Cruz; in other words, TRUMP CHALLENGED MOST ELEGANTLY THE ASSUMPTION THAT RUBIO’S VICTORY IN MINNESOTA REPRESENTS A WIN FOR CRUZ AS OPPOSED TO A WIN FOR TRUMP (- A NUANCE THAT I GUESS ESCAPED ABOUT 99%). (BTW: Also keep in mind that Cruz DISSED (and didn’t retract in the debate or in his post debate interview with Wolf Blitzer the DISS of) me and my fellow Trumpsters as “low information” - another sign that Cruz is just an establishment politician (with connections to the Bush family and the special interests who are funding him and his Super PACS) who SELFISHLY WOULD RATHER LOSE TO HILLARY THAN WIN WITH TRUMP.)
It was also interesting the subtle attempts by CNN to cast Trump in a less favorable light such as by asking Rubio and Kasich about Veterans but not asking Trump. Trump himself pointed out the ‘civil’ nature of the debate; this reminds me of Ronald Reagan “I have learned that one of the most important rules in politics is poise—which means looking like an owl after you have behaved like a jackass” ( http://virtuefirst.org/virtues/poise/ ).
https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/708171902091563009 : “": Let's be clear.. #NeverTrump is about "Never someone we don't own" You either play into it & let them win or vote Trump.”
I suppose the Canadian born snake could counter that he beat Trump in Minnesota in the sense that he came in second and Trump came in third ( http://www.nytimes.com/elections/results/minnesota ). However, according to that logic what about factoring in all of the times that Cruz came in less than second? Trump's answer was brilliant.

One still has to wonder what the outcome in Iowa would have been if Cruz had not cheated. He spent 13 months there and still had to cheat. Shameful.
